The bicycle, or push-bike, is the most efficient mode of transport yet invented. It's ideal for most people to use to travel up to 30 miles a day. It doesn't contribute to air pollution, noise pollution or global warming. It's also cheap enough for most people to own and maintain one without stressing their finances. Moreover, the exercise one gets from riding push-bike is a first line defence against obesity, heart disease and the other diseases of affluence.
