[NOTE: This is a template for creating articles about a concept. Concepts are generally categorised as either scientific, political, philosophical, economic or a combination of these. It is expected that understanding of the conept will clarify and/or augment an issue or solution. Concept articles contain detailed information about the concpet as well as links to the issues or solutions it pertains to.
To quickly insert a complete blank organisation template, you can copy-and-paste the Ecowiki:Quick concept article template or just add {{subst:concept}} to the page and save.
The copy in italics below are suggestions for what should go in each section. Use it as a guideline to frame your content if you wish but do not include it in your final article. article.]
The first section of the concept article does not have a heading. This is where you should put an overview of the concept. Try
to provide an outline of the concept and identify the issues, solutions, organisations, ecosystems or species it relates to.
Leave the detailed information about the concept for the subsections below.

History
Try and give a brief history of the concept, who first identified it and when. If or, when, by whom and why its been refined.
Overview
Give an overview of the concept. Use sub-subheads to delineate the different themes. In this section try and relate the concept to other articles about issues, solutions, organisations, ecosystems, species or other concepts in EcoWiki.
Fundamental principles
Identify the key aspects of the concept that you think visitors should understand when.
Notes and references
Add any notes or references to support the description of the concept. These should provide a credible third party source for aspects of the concept that might be in dispute and should also provide a point of reference for that visitors who are interested in the concept can use to find more information.

Use this section to group together all the other relevant links in EcoWiki.
Books
Use this section to recommend any books you have read that will provide the curious with more detailed or related information. When recommending books try to use the standard EcoWiki format:
Book Title: Author: published date: ISBN: publisher
Underneath the basic information add a couple of sentences explaining why the visitor might be interested in reading the book.
Movies
Use this section to recommend any movies you have watched that will provide the curious with more detailed or related information. When recommending movies try to use the standard EcoWiki movie format:
Movie Name: Director: Year released
Underneath the basic information add a short paragraph explaining why you think the movie's relevant.
External links
Use this section to provide the visitor with links to other website that provide more information about the organisation.
