Wildlife corridors faciliate the continued movement of animals and plants between physically isolated areas. This is extremely
important for migration, maintaining genetically diverse populations, allowing animals and plants to find other areas of suitable
habitat. A wildlife corridor linking two conservation areas would increase the value of both conservation areas as well as
providing a third habitat. A successful wildlife corridor tends to be a natural highway, such as a river, valley or hedgerow.
